Wellllll.. Lemme tell ya.. Murray is the brain chicken of a gal named Kim. Most folks on line know her as Joy. She a wife and mother of four. Kim, her husband Dan and their three youngest children Graydon, Stephanie and Nathan live out in Rural Manitoba, Canada on a farm near Lac du Bonnet. Dan works for the provincial Hydro utility and raises chickens in his off time and Kim is the domestic goddess in his life.

Murray was an idea that came from Joy's constant references about chickens and their antics to her on line friends. Wanting in some small way to bring this group together in realtime, Murray seemed like the perfect way.

He is a stuffed chicken that is being mailed to different people who have in one way or another had contact with each other on the Internet. The main purpose of this whole thing is really to just have some fun and see how far he will travel.

His Hosts are asked to take pictures of Murray at different sites in their community and keep a diary of his stay which will all be published on his home page at www.murraythechicken.com . We have purchased his .com site because of outside interest that people are showing.. This way they too can read more about his travels and become a host if they wish.

We are hoping to add all kinds of things to Murray's page as time goes on. From a virtual talent contest to greeting cards, a chicken recipe library, a Kids page, Chat rooms and a few other goodies.
