Yeppers, Murray was on television yet again Feb 1. 2002. John H and his boys from Ottawa took old Murray to the Winterlude festival and didn't they all end up on the news! Details can be found on Murray's Star Page.

Murray Made National Morning News!!
Yes he did.. On November 18th, 2001 this photo of Murray with Joy's kids, Graydon, Stephanie and Nathan was shown on CTV's Canada AM!
UPDATE to this story
Not only did he get his picture on Canada AM but the following day November 19th, 2001 Joy got a call in the morning saying that picture won picture of the week and they would like to do a phone interview with her about Murray and his travels. What a hoot! Rod and Lisa talked with Kim (Joy) and showed some pictures from his site and his Kids page.
UPDATED update to this story Seems the folks at Canada AM. Liked the idea of Murray so they asked if he could be a guest on the show. He happily obliged! On January 9th, 2002 Murray made his television debut! Murray appeared on the show with Jeff Hutcheson, Rod Black and Lisa Laflamme. He even helped Jeff with the weather report. We were a little dumbfounded to say the least but quite delighted at the recognition.

*********************Also while visiting with Thief and LG in Mobile, Alabama, it seems that Murray got some attention from the local postal newspaper Mobile City News .
When Murray arrived at his hosts home he was delivered to them by mail lady Mary Nell Markham. Lg took Mary Nell's picture with Murray. Lg said that when she went to mail Murray off to his next Host all the folks at the post office knew all about Murray. Our little bird is becoming quite popular, peoples.
